Listen to JUNNA's Beautiful Singing Voice in Kaizoku Oujo OP Theme MV



The official YouTube channel of the 20-year-old Japanese singer JUNNA, posted a 90-second music video of her fifth single song "Umi to Shinju" (Sea and Pearls) which is to be released on October 6, 2021. 


She is best known as the singing voice of Mikumo Guynemer in the Macross Delta franchise, she has performed the theme songs for The Ancient Magus' Bride in 2017, for Lord of Vermilion: The Crimson King in 2018, and for Kakegurui XX and BEM in 2019.  

 

"Umi to Shinju" is now the OP theme for the original TV anime Fena: Pirate Princess, and was produced by Yuki Kajiura, who also works on the anime's soundtrack music. 


JUNNA says "I'm honored to have worked with Yuki Kajiura-san on the music. I'm also happy that everyone will be able to listen to the music as the OP theme for the wonderful anime 'Fena: Pirate Princess.' I hope that many people will love it along with the anime."



 


She also commented on Twitter, "The short version music video for 'Umi to Shinju' has been released! The spectacular world view of the song is also expressed in this video. You can enjoy both the music and the video, so please watch it a lot, a lot! It's great and wonderful music, so I hope many of you will listen!"
