My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission Surpassed The Total Box Office of the 1st Anime Film in 10 Days


My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission is a Japanese animated superhero film, and the third film based on the manga My Hero Academia by Kōhei Horikoshi. The film is produced by Bones, directed by Kenji Nagasaki, and was released in Japan on August 6, 2021

Toho just released the box office figures for the My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes Mission anime film, revealing that the film is doing amazingly well, and has already surpassed the gross total of the first film in the series, Two Heroes. The audience figures were also released, the figures showed that the majority of filmgoers are females in their twenties.

As of August 15, My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission has grossed over 1.6 billion yen(US$14.55 million) at the Japanese box office with 1.28 million tickets being sold. This means that World Heroes Mission has surpassed the movie, Two Heroes, which had a final box office total of 1.6 billion yen($14.10 million), and is getting ready to outgross the second film in the franchise, Heroes Rising, which earned 1.79 billion yen (US$15.1 million).


Audience surveys for the film from the first day showed high satisfaction. 97.8% of the responders said they thought the film was "good" and 90.6% of those said that they would recommend it to others.
