Gary Is Back After 12 Years In Pokémon Journeys
In the Next Episode of Pokémon Journeys we will see the return of Ash's first rival, Gary Oak. Gary's last full appearance in the anime series was around 12 years ago during the Diamond and Pearl saga.
Gary is continuing his work researching legendary Pokémon, which is what bring him in the path of Ash, and more importantly Goh, who is searching for Mew. Professor Oak informs Goh that a Mew expedition is looking for new members to hunt for the legendary creature. we can aslo see the return of Ash's original Pokémon form the first series, as well as Gary's starter (Squirtle) Blastoise.
